Dep. Gov. Maj. John Greene, Jr. was born on 15 Aug 1620 in Salisbury, Wilts, England to Dr. John Greene (1597 - 1659) and Joan Tattershall (1598 - c.1633) and died on 27 Nov 1708 in Warwick, Kent County, Rhode Island, North America. He was baptized on 15 Aug 1620 in County Wilts, England. He arrived in 1635 in Massachusetts, North America. He married in 1648 to Anne Almy (1627 - 1709).
